Baseband Modem TS6/TR6

The Multi Data Digital TS6/TR6 digital service units/modems are probably the best performing, best value baseband products available today. A great deal of research has gone into the designing and production of these DSU/modems. The design is compact at just 7” x 4” yet resilient due to the RFI compliant metal casing. A full array of LED´s give indication of modem status at all times and to assist in trouble-shooting on any network. A comprehensive range of diagnostic tests are also provided. With the distances that the TS6 operate over they cannot be termed as “Short Haul” and indeed the TS6 is particularly suited to 19200 bps digital service provision over long distances either in-house or for PTT´s needing to link customer premises to local exchanges to provide access facilities.

With its four modes of transferring control signals over the line the most demanding applications can be realized with these modems. For central site installations the TS16 provides the ideal solution. Any mix of TS6 and TS7-X DSU’s, up to 16 units can be fitted. Like all Multi Data Digital high quality products the TS6 and TS16 are also guaranteed for 2 years and technically supported for their lifetime.
